Shipping & Customs
This page explains how shipping generally works when you source through ROTIS.
All timelines and costs mentioned are estimates only. Actual shipping depends on suppliers, carriers and customs conditions beyond our control.
Domestic shipping in China
Once a supplier confirms your order, they ship the goods to our consolidation point inside China.
This step is handled by the supplier or their local courier, not directly by ROTIS.
Consolidation
If you order from more than one supplier, we coordinate combining those goods into a single shipment.
Consolidation can reduce your overall freight cost, but it also depends on all supplier shipments arriving on time.
International freight options
There are two general freight options: air freight (faster, higher cost) and sea freight (slower, lower cost).
Air freight typically takes approximately 1-2 weeks after consolidation. Sea freight typically takes approximately 4-8 weeks after consolidation.
These timeframes are approximate only and are not guarantees. Actual transit time can vary significantly.
Customs and clearing
Customs duties, taxes and clearing at the port of arrival are the buyer's responsibility.
We recommend working with your own licensed clearing agent to handle import formalities in your country.
ROTIS does not calculate, collect or pay customs duties on your behalf.
Risks to understand
Shipping can be affected by delays, customs holds, damage in transit or carrier issues outside our control.
Certain goods may be restricted or prohibited in your country. It is your responsibility to check this before ordering.
ROTIS will communicate any known issues promptly but cannot guarantee outcomes once goods leave the supplier.
